Data Bus Couplers North Hills line of In-Line and Box-Type Data Bus
Couplers and Terminators offer MIL-STD-1553 users devices with up to eight (8)
transformer coupled output ports. These units are available with or without internal
terminations and can be supplied with a variety of
different connectors and cables (MIL-C-17/176-00002 is standard).

Space Qualified Data Bus Couplers
North Hills has developed a wide variety of couplers suitable for installation
on satellites or lift vehicles. They are available as either In-Line or Box-Type
Couplers but can also be supplied in configurations that meet your custom specifications
and withstand your special environmental requirements. North Hills can also provide
complete harness assemblies designed to your specifications.

Network Testers
North Hills offers the easy-to-use DBT100A handheld tester for system integration
applications as well as the rugged DBT500 for severe environments. Both testers
are able to quickly troubleshoot or test MIL-STD-1553B Data Bus Networks and
will detect shorts, opens, crossovers and shorts-to-shield on both bus and stub
connections.
Data Bus Relay Devices North
Hills offers a series of bus switching relays designed for use in the test and
simulation of MIL-STD-1553 data buses. They are particularly useful in reconfiguring
bus systems.
Data Bus Transformers The
North Hills DX Line of Data Bus Transformers has been designed specifically for
MIL-STD-1553 applications and provides superior wave shape characteristics
and extra margin of CMR.
